报告人简介:

高田至郎教授是国际地震工程学界知名教授。他的研究领域主要集中在生命线地震工程,主要包括三个方面:一是地震区现场调查和分析;二是桥梁结构、地下结构及管线的动力响应分析和设计,涉及断层、液化及滑坡等;三是生命线系统,包括供水、电力、污水、燃气及通讯线路的可靠性分析。

Research filed ofProf. Shiro Takada is divided into three parts. First is a site investigationof earthquake damage and its analyses. He visited severely damaged areas morethan 20 earthquakes in the world and 30 in Japan so far. Second is the researchon dynamic response analyses and design consideration for bridge structure,buried civil structure and lifelines. The research focused on seismic inputground motion, design spectra, dynamic experiments of buried structures, andnew design concept. Fault dislocation, liquefaction and land slide as well aswave propagation have been taken into consideration for the design of civilstructures. Third is the seismic reliability analysis of lifeline systems suchas power, water, sewage, gas and telecommunication. Functionality of lifelinesystems has been analyzed by employing various system theories. Seismic damageestimate, restoration and reconstruction process have been discussed in theactual existing huge lifeline networks. He experienced the 1995 Kobe earthquakeas one of citizen in Kobe and did a lot of contribution for the reconstructionof Kobe City as well as the new seismic design codes of lifelines in Japanapplying the knowledge studied so far.
